Help Poculi Ludique Societas celebrate the holiday season, by joining them for a unique blend of festivity and scholarship at our Hybrid Holiday Gathering on December 4, 2024!

Together with Jackman Humanties-supported research project, the Medieval World Drama Working Group (MWDWG), we will bring medieval Nativity plays to life through cold readings from English, Spanish, and Italian sources.

 Special Guest: Translator Alexandra Atiya will read selections from original Spanish texts.

✨ We'll explore texts like Belcari’s Annunciation, the York Three Kings sequence, as well as Auto de los Reyes Magos, and Encina’s Nativities.

✨ Participate in the readings or simply enjoy observing!

✨ Wear your most creative holiday-themed costume—medieval or modern.

✨ Snacks and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided.
