Check out Jacqueline's article, published in The Conversation on July 2. It's entitled "When ‘man’ didn’t mean humanity: How language excluded women for centuries". Jacqueline's work as an historian of medieval gender and sexuality allows her to explore the ways in which anti-feminism and misogyny, seeing a resurgence in the 2020s, has a long history in how women were discussed in ancient and medieval Western cultures.  Check Jacqueline's article out here

The successful candidate will work with the DOE and Ansund staff on a multifaceted project aimed at updating the Dictionary of Old English Corpus, improving the utility of the DOE’s List of Texts, and facilitating alignment between DOE texts and variant manuscript versions. The position will be based in Toronto, with some training taking place in Dublin during the first year of the fellowship.
